Faults we investigate
No ring, no speech, one-way audio, intermittent operation, a release button that does nothing, damaged handsets and faults that started after a handset or broadband change.
- Handset and privacy-switch checks
- Call-button and panel faults
- Power supply and common wiring
- Electric strike or release relay faults
02
One flat or the whole building?
A fault affecting one flat often points to the handset or local wiring. A fault affecting every flat may be at the entrance panel, power supply, common cable or door release. Telling us the scope saves time.
- One resident affected
- Several residents affected
- Whole entrance affected
- Intermittent or weather-related fault

Repair before replacement
Older systems can often be repaired if compatible parts are available and the common wiring is sound. Where the system is unsupported or repeatedly failing, we will explain the replacement route rather than continuing to patch it.
